Our visiting student Teresa Scheidt received the best-paper award at the Perspectives Workshop at the ACM Recommender Systems Conference 2021 in Amsterdam.

Teresa is doing her Master’s at Lund University in Sweden but visited us here at the University of Siegen over the summer for a 3-months research internship. In only three months, she completed a research project about the “Time-dependent Evaluation of Recommender Systems”, and managed to write a full paper, which we submitted to the workshop. Not only was her article accepted for publication, but today she received the best paper award from the workshops’ organizers Prof. Christine Bauer, Prof. Eva Zangerle, and Prof. Alain Said.

You can read the full paper here: http://ceur-ws.org/Vol-2955/paper10.pdf
