Rohit Rawat joins our group for his Master Thesis. Rohit is currently pursuing an MSC in Computer Science majoring in Data Science from Trinity College Dublin. Before joining Trinity College Dublin, he was working with Accenture in Pune, India as an Automation Developer where he worked on Blue Prism and Ui-Path tool for performing browser and mainframe automation. He has also worked with Capgemini in Pune, India as a Robotics Process Automation Developer.
Rohit has a keen interest in Machine learning, Deep learning and NLP. His dissertation topic is calculating the virtual citation proximity of the research paper based on the ground truth CPI value. This involves applying Siamese neural networks to compare two research papers along with using various embedding techniques to calculate the CPI. Rohit is currently working on producing the existing code and working on determining another method to improve the current solution.
